The staff and this library have consistently been awesome and clearly enjoy what they do! With the new renovations, the ample space dedicated to kids, teens and everyone who needs the space and the serene atmosphere have it! They have lots of programs for various ages and provides opportunities for volunteering for teens! The staff are extremely knowledgeable! I often admire how they treat even their youngest patrons and patiently answer their queries!
It is one of the best library in Albany. I love kid's zone in libarary, and there are lots of toys, books and people.
I love this library! The staff are helpful and kind. I love that they automatically renew books if they can, and give you notification if they can or cannot. It's a great place! I'd love to work there once I retire!
I had a one on one class with Kerrie McLellan, Digital Services Librarian, and I never dreamed anyone had such patience. Kerrie helped me for an hour class, in bulk e mail deletion.
I’ve seen u tube videos, but they are all too fast to learn the steps properly for this very common, abundance of e mails, sent to many g mail accounts. I was thrilled to see how wonderful her skills are and she’s a wonderful teacher:) I can’t say enough about her determination, fabulous personality, and the special care, she displays to anyone, who seeks help, with computer classes. Thank you Kerrie. Geraldine
This place has really been such a blessing to my daughter and I. We were cooped up most of her infancy unsure of where to take a baby that’s safe for free play and exploration. I don’t remember what led me to here but wow. It’s clean, safe and has lots of great toys. The staff is so friendly and kind. It’s such a great free resource for mothers and babies/ children. I can’t recommend this enough.
I have been there on several occasions for meetings. The staff is always friendly and helpful and very welcoming.
There are few staff who are kind and very helpful, but overall, I do feel like the staff here could be a little friendlier. There are some staff that are a bit impatient when working with children.
The children’s section could desperately use some more puzzles and toys for families to utilize in the winter months. We have 3 children under 5. We go weekly, and we’ve only seen one puzzle and the same few bins of toys.
We do love this library. It is very clean and organized well.
Curbside pick up was so easy!
I requested a book online. Got the email it was ready and headed to the library. There was a big banner with the phone number for pick ups (it's on the website too) so I called from my car to let them know I was there. Waited a couple of minutes for them to check the item out, bag it and put it on the pick up table. Then I masked up and went in and grabbed it.
The pick up table is on the right just inside the main door. Start to finish was about 5 minutes.
